The AusDesign 'floor plan database' contains a selection of new house plans and designs that have been created for Clients throughout Australia to suit varying situations, lifestyles and budgets.
Although your individual home design will be very much a culmination of your own personal requirements, these designs may assist you in the development of your ideas.

House Energy Ratings (Thermal Performance Assessment)

AusDesign has been an accredited house energy rater since its inception in 2002, with the Victorian Governments 'Sustainable Energy Authority' and now currently through the Building Designers Association Victoria, using the C.S.I.R.O developed 'FirstRate software'.
Together with our qualifications to provide the necessary rating certificates for multi-unit developments and new homes, we can assess each design that we undertake, and provide an energy rating of between 1 and 10 stars, together with the necessary design alterations [if required] to achieve a minimum 6 Star Energy Rating level for your new home.
Energy efficiency requirements are now mandatory for all new homes built throughout Australia under the current 'Building Code of Australia'.
Currently under Victorian Legislation, Extensions and / or Renovations are required to meet minimum standards to varying degrees to satisfy Building Permit applications. AusDesign can provide 'Deemed to Satisfy' documentation to cater for this requirement.
